All artwork, photographs, images, texts, designs, logos and other content displayed on this website are protected by intellectual property rights and may not be copied, reproduced, modified, distributed or used commercially without prior written permission from Atelier Soetekouw.

Artwork & Images

Original artworks are unique, handmade pieces, including Wall Art and Sculptures. Variations in colour, texture, materials and finish are inherent to the artistic process and are not considered defects. Colours may vary slightly depending on your screen or device.

Order & Payment

All prices are stated in euros and include VAT where applicable. Shipping costs are shown separately before checkout. An order is confirmed once payment has been successfully completed.

Shipping, Damage & Loss

Atelier Soetekouw takes great care in packaging and shipping all artworks. Where appropriate, shipments may be tracked and/or insured.

If an artwork is damaged during transport or a shipment is lost, please contact Atelier Soetekouw as soon as possible. We may request photographs of the artwork and packaging to document the issue and assist with the investigation with the carrier.

Atelier Soetekouw remains responsible for the goods until they have been delivered to the customer, in accordance with applicable consumer law.

Returns

Consumers have the statutory right of withdrawal where applicable. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer where permitted by law and where this has been communicated before purchase.

Artwork must be handled with reasonable care. Where permitted by law, Atelier Soetekouw may claim compensation for any loss in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the artwork.

Custom & Personalised Works

The right of withdrawal does not apply to clearly personalised or custom-made works where the applicable legal exception applies.

Damage After Delivery

Once an artwork has been safely delivered, the customer is responsible for handling, installation and storage with appropriate care. Damage caused by improper handling, installation, storage, moisture, impact or other actions after delivery is not considered transport damage.

This does not affect any statutory consumer rights.

Defective or Incorrect Goods

If an artwork arrives damaged, defective or materially different from what was ordered, please contact Atelier Soetekouw. Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

Applicable Law

This Legal Statement is governed by the laws of the Netherlands, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection laws applicable in the customer’s country of residence.
